We are living in pandemic times, the coronavirus is affecting all of us globally.  I will be uploading by and by photos from modelling jobs I did since fashion week to the present over the next few days/weeks.

For the foreseeable future, all my bookings are on hold and there is no way traditional shoots can take place. 

I am, however, available for social media related work, which can be done at home using my phone or my digital camera. Please do contact me (or my agency), all offers will be carefully considered.

I am well and am  practising social distancing

I am delighted to announce that my book "Contemporary Indonesian Fashion. Through the looking glass" is now in production and will be published by Bloomsbury in October this year. You can have a sneak peek if you click the button below. 

The book explores  fashion from Indonesia  - not just modest wear - in relation to global fashion. 

It is published under my real name and it's the first book that ever looks at contemporary fashion in an Asian country, moving away from a eurocentric understanding of fashion.

In celebration of the upcoming film, 3 creatives have come together to photograph a collection of 11 inspirational women who embody her spirit, strength and humanity. These women represent diversity in ethnicity, background, body forms and age. In their ever-evolving and inspirational lives these women have soared and are still soaring “Higher, Further, Faster”. They are rising to the challenges in front of them and discovering what makes them a hero in their own story. They are Marvels.

I will be in Jakarta, Indonesia from 21st March to 20th April 2018. I shall be involved in Indonesia Fashion Week where I am scheduled to give a talk - more later, watch this space. I am delighted to be going back, I was in Indonesia in the autumn of 2015 and had the honour of taking part in Tri Handoko's IPMI Trend Show 2016. You can watch a video and read about it here

Delighted to announce I am participating in the documentary Timeless Beauty (2018) a Franco-Chinese co-production scheduled to appear in Spring 2018. It is an exploration of the contemporary world of fashion, interviewing  some of the most atypical models in the  industry and investigating  the ever-changing concept of beauty worldwide.

A festival  celebrating a world where age does not matter. On 1st October three conversation labs  led by Caryn Franklin MBE discussed subverting stereotypes in the media concerning ageing.

Delighted to have been invited to speak as a member of the first lab, the one on 'visibility' and the role of media in mentoring, drawing on my experience as a model.
